​​My  love  affair​  with books and stories began as a small girl.  As an only child born to older parents who insisted on living miles from any other life, I escaped my lonely existence through books.  ​

Words became the wand that magically transported me to adventures beyond my own reality. 
​

As an adult writing became a way to capture the chaos of my own thoughts and somehow tame them into subservience.  I worked an eclectic mix of careers from event planner to public relations specialist and grew bored always within the first two years.  

​

Circumstances conspired and I fell into a job as a reporter. 

Journalism allowed me to research and peek into the lives of others I found fascinating, in a way allowing me to live vicariously through them for a time.  The subject always changing, kept me interested and engaged.



​An unshakeable belief that life is to be lived, not merely survived... has brought me here to connect with those

that need a voice to tell their story.
